Bryce - Friction and Non-Friction Pins

Hey Guys,
I have always wondered, why do some of the pins have little lines on them? I soon found out that they are Friction pins. I know what friction is, but how does it affect a pin? Does it make it easier to put in or take out? Or does it fall out more easily? Post a comment if you have an answer.

  1. The non-friction pins are for rotating parts.

  2. the black pegs have a lot of friction. if you put it in a beem and try to turn it it wont turn very well. they are best to use if you want the conection strong.

the gray pins dont have much friction. it will spin easely in a beam. they would be used in moving parts.
